Job Title: Ignition Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Ignition Developer with expertise in SCADA systems to join our team at our office in The Woodlands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Ignition-based SCADA solutions to meet the needs of our clients. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and configure Ignition SCADA systems to support industrial automation processes.
– Design user-friendly HMI interfaces and dashboards for real-time data visualization.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions.
– Troubleshoot and optimize existing Ignition applications for performance and reliability.
– Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders.
– Maintain documentation and version control for all development projects.

Required Skills:

– Proven experience in Ignition SCADA system development and implementation.
– Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
– Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and SQL for database management.
– Experience with OPC, MQTT, and other industrial communication protocols.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– Relevant certifications in Ignition or SCADA systems are a plus.
