Job Title: I&E Technician (ROC Experience)

Job Type: Long-Term Contract

Job Summary:

A leading pipeline company is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician with expertise in ROC for a long-term contract role in the Midland/Odessa, TX area. This position will support automation control systems and electrical infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ROC RTUs, SCADA systems, and other automation equipment used in pipeline operations.
• Perform calibration, testing, and preventive maintenance on field instrumentation, flow meters, pressure transmitters, and electrical control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits, control panels, and motor control systems critical to pipeline functionality.
• Interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and technical manuals to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to optimize automation and electrical system performance.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, DOT pipeline regulations, and industry standards such as NEC, OSHA, and API.
• Respond to on-call and emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Document work performed, system modifications, and maintenance records accurately.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of I&E Technician experience in the pipeline, midstream, or oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency with ROC RTUs is required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in pipeline automation, electrical circuits, and SCADA communications.
• Knowledge of cathodic protection, flow measurement, and control valve automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with API 1104, DOT 192/195, and other pipeline industry regulations is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions and support operations across multiple sites.
