Jimmy Gowens brings a unique perspective to technical recruiting after spending 14 years in the Oil & Gas industry, where he built his career from field engineering into supporting and leading large-scale operational campaigns. Working alongside engineers, field personnel, operations teams, and technical leaders gave Jimmy firsthand insight into the people, environments, and challenges that drive the energy and industrial sectors.
After transitioning into recruiting, Jimmy found that his industry background allowed him to approach the profession differently. Rather than simply matching resumes to job descriptions, he focuses on understanding the work itself, what a company truly needs, and what motivates a professional to make a career move. He has recruited across engineering, energy, manufacturing, power, utilities, and other highly technical markets, building relationships with professionals at every level.
Jimmy moved to the Houston area in 2002 and has called Texas home ever since . He and his wife are raising a family of six children. Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family, studying his faith, working on home projects, and finding just about any excuse to build, design, or improve something.
